Welp, 50 days to go, I figured I should actually make a post since I haven't in foreva. And actually, it was 50 days from yesterday, so, really, I have 49 days left. Yay! I'm so fricken stoked, like, you have absolutely no idea my excitement right now. Well, the other exchange students know how excited I am. Wait, no, even they don't have as much excitement as I do; I have way more excitement.
So I have 50 days till I leave, and I still haven't learned any German. "What?!" I know!!!! I've learned: Ich will das bier (I want beer), was ist das (what is that), and ich liebe dich (I love you). Oh, yeah. I'm gonna go far! But that's beside the point; I need to learn, like, now.
It seams like such a long time, but it really isn't and I have way too much stuff to get done. I still need to find a camera, earn some more money to take with me, cause right now I have a little over $900 and I need a hell lot more than that. I also need to start writing a list of what I'm taking with me to Germany since I have limited space on what I can take with me.
I also have my first homework assignment. I'm supposed to write a page on what my expectations are and what challenges I will face when I'm in Germany. It's due this Tuesday, and I guess if I don't turn it in, I get "penalized", whatever that means, but I don't want to find out.
I also found out about traveling plans for the day I leave. Right now, I know I don't get to ride with anyone since everyone has already bought a plane ticket that lives in Arizona, so I'm all by myself. But I only have to stand the ride to DC by myself. Cause once I land in DC, we go and stay with everyone at a hotel near the airport and the next day we are ALL on the same plane to Germany! I'm so excited! I love these people so much! And that's not even the best part, we have a layover in Paris before we land in Frankfurt! Ah!!!! Paris!! All I'm sayin is I better get to see the eifeel tower when we land.
